The Detox: Part 3- The Juice Recipes

 The Detox (Part 3)


This is the final post of "The Detox" series. It has the juice recipes I used on the different days of the detox. Yes, I had the same juice the entire day simply because I did not have the time to prepare juice every couple of hours but, that does not mean you have to do the same. Instead, it would probably be better to prepare the juice when you want to drink it and have it as fresh as you possibly can. I have listed all the ingredient down with the exception of water which goes into each of the juices in varied quantities. You can enjoy these juices any day for a great great boost of energy and nutrients. Try them out even if you do not wish to do the detox and you might just like the way they make you feel!


The Juice Recipes


Day 1:

Spinach, Ginger, Carrot, Apple, Lemon, Celery, Cucumber 


Day 2 and Day 3:


Tomato, Carrot, Apple, Plum, Spinach, Mustard leaves
Cucumber, Celery, Lemon, Ginger

Day 4 and Day 5:

Papaya, Carrot, Apple, Spinach, Mustard Leaves

Cucumber, Celery, Lemon, Ginger
(Such a smooth juice and it barely separated, probably has to do with the papaya)


Day 6 and Day 7: 

Turmeric, Papaya, Apples, Spinach, Cucumber

Celery, Lemon, Ginger, Parsley
Mustard leaves
(Juicing the turmeric makes your kitchen smell delightful and it adds a little extra zing to the juice.)


Day 8 and Day 9:

Turmeric, Apples, Spinach, Mustard, Celery

Lemon, Ginger

Most of the juice recipes were pretty similar but my favourite one was the blend from Day 6 and 7. The added flavour of the turmeric and the smoothness from the papaya made the juice so much easier to go down and enjoy throughout the day.
